The 2024 release of the album Eclipse Move by the band Vektur is definitely a fun ride.  The ten songs are made up of tunes covering a variety of genres. This primarily jazz band takes on everything to funk to a tune with a late 70’s rock band feel.  There are a variety of vocals in some of the songs which at times is not unlike listening to Steely Dan.  Lead guitar player Grant Crawford is brilliant; reminiscent of Larry Carlton and Lee Rittenour.  He can give the late Eddie Van Halen a run for his money on the song Desire.  This album is refreshing, unique and delightful.  Take a ride for yourself, you’ll be glad you did.
